Job description

As a (Junior) Purchasing Account manager at Tendria you are responsible for managing and developing customer relationships.

You understand the purchasing needs and challenges of your customers and you offer tailor-made solutions that meet their specific requirements.

You work closely with internal teams and external specialists to develop procurement strategies, conduct negotiations and manage supplier relationships.

In addition, you are responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying new opportunities and contributing to Tendria’s growth.

· Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers

· Understanding the purchasing needs of customers and providing appropriate solutions

· Analyzing customer spending to identify optimization opportunities

· Negotiating contracts and price agreements with suppliers

· Analyzing market trends, competition and customer behavior to identify new opportunities

· Reporting on progress, results and challenges to the management team

Profile of the ideal candidate

· At least a completed HBO education in a relevant field

· Demonstrable experience in a similar position, preferably within the purchasing sector

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions

· Proficiency in Excel and experience in using PowerBI for data analysis and visualization are a plus

· Team player with a customer-oriented mindset

· Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently

· Fluent in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing
